Proposed New Build

Proposed New Build

This House design illustrates a contemporary execution of a classical Georgian-style two-story farmhouse, a style frequently seen in modern Irish self-build projects.
The layout balances clean, austere lines with traditional structural proportions.
The façade honours classical Georgian architecture with an offset arrangement of multi-pane sash windows and balanced massing. The main block rises two full stories under a traditional slate gabled roof, flanked by dual white-rendered chimneys.
Breaking the completely flat façade is a prominent, flat-roofed central porch projection. This enclosed entryway houses a deep blue timber main door flanked by side lights, creating a distinct focal point for the front elevation.
The ground level is dedicated to social, open-plan living zones with tall windows that draw in passive daylight. A subtle single-story stone extension is visible to the right side, introducing texturing contrast accommodating a cosy sun lounge.
