The Anthony Golden Community Park is a dedicated memorial and sporting facility located on the Killala Road in Ballina, County Mayo.
The facility honors the memory of Garda Anthony "Tony" Golden, a Ballina native and passionate hurler who was tragically killed in the line of duty on October 11, 2015.
The park was initiated by the Anthony Golden Community Park Trust, a voluntary community organisation established shortly after his passing. The development provides a local gathering hub and sports center featuring an all-weather soccer astro-pitch, a dedicated GAA hurling wall, a multi-use natural grass pitch, an integrated exercise circuit and a community center designed to accommodate all ages and uses.
